7 x Milan hotspots
Morning Powerfoodies! Today I’m happy to share a list of my favorite healthy hotspots in Milan. This authentic city is, of course, know for its fresh pizzas and pastas, but it also boasts lots of hotspots where you can get your fix of delicious, freshly made powerfood. Taking a city trip to sunny Milan any time soon? If so, read on! ; )
Right next to the Piazza del Duomo is Juice Bar. This is a great place to have a cup of coffee or a light breakfast or lunch seated outside on the sunny patio. The menu is varied and includes salads, soups and chia puddings. My fave combo is, by far, the açaí bowl with a ginseng coffee!

As a true foodie, I must include Eataly on my list. This hotspot is truly a food paradise. It’s a sort of restaurant-cafe-market, all in one. You can find all of the traditional Italian specialties here and the quality of the products on offer is second to none. Tip: great place to pick up some souvenirs for use in your very own powerkitchen.

This lovely, cozy hotspot is truly a green oasis in the city. The (vegan) dishes on the menu are exceptionally photogenic and taste even better than they look. From fresh juices to falafel burgers… All of your favorite powerfoods are on the menu. And just when you thought things couldn’t get any better, they contribute a portion of their profits to a charity program that works to feed and provide clean water to children in developing countries. Two enthusiastic thumbs up for this hotspot!

Are you, like me, a real lover of Japanese food? Then this place is a must go! The menu is filled with delicious poké bowls, sushi, avocado toast, etc. For the avocado fans among us, they serve share plates with a variety of avocado-based bites to enjoy with friends. Tip: order the matcha pancakes with red fruit… So tasty!

This colorful place has only been open for a few months, but it’s already super popular. Healthy juices, salads, wraps, poké bowls… You name it. Flavors has got it all! I ordered a fresh, green salad with mango and feta. In a hurry? You’ll find lots of dishes that you can take to go. Super handy!

Looking for a place that sells beautiful plants, interior items and delicious coffee? This is your place. The interior of this hotspot is super clean and minimalist. The café itself is beautiful in and of itself, but add coffee and a bite on the table and its awe inspiring.

With ‘health is the greatest gift that keeps on giving’ as their motto, two Italian sisters started up this very first superfood bar in Milan. A meal at this fun hotspot will ensure that you get your daily dose of vitamins. Try the ‘kale-ifornia bowl’ with a ‘berry be good’ juice. The creative names given to the dishes and the colorful menu make it even more fun! Feel like something savory? The quinoa tacos are an absolute winner.
