Food prep
Why do I prep? During the week, I’m often quite busy and tend to be running around a lot, which is why I’m always on the lookout for tasty recipes that I can take with me or to have it in the fridge /freezer so I don’t have to worry about what to eat! ⠀ ⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Two-and-a-half years ago, I wrote the cookbook Powerfood – On the Go. I wrote it in response to your requests that is full of all sorts of Powerfood recipes that can be taken with you, to-go incl. prep-ahead tips. I thought this was a great idea seeing as I’m a firm believer that we should all spend more time cooking our own food and do our best to eat less take-out and pre-made food purchased from gas stations or corner stores. ⠀

I believe that when you cook something yourself, you have a deeper connection to what you are eating and you are more aware of what you are putting in your body. It also makes you value your food more. Not having the time isn’t an excuse, if you ask me. It’s all about getting your priorities straight.
