Waarom ik zo happy word van herfst? Naast de prachtige kleuren, het fijne licht en de stiekem best wel lekkere temperatuur, vind ik dat de appels en peren (en eigenlijk de meeste vruchten) nu op z’n allerlekkerst zijn. Toevallig belde mijn buurvrouw vorige week bij me aan en gaf me een enorme zak vol kleine appeltjes en peren. Zij had ze in de tuin van haar vrienden opgeraapt en meegenomen, omdat ze weet dat ze mij daar dolgelukkig mee maakt. Ahh yeah! In de herfst maak ik om de haverklap verse appel- of perenmoes. En dat is niet alleen lekker als tussendoortje, of bij je avondmaaltijd. Ik gebruik de moes ook in bananenbrood, in pannenkoeken of muffins én tegenwoordig ook in mijn ontbijtjes.

Ingrediënten

50 ml water
450 g peren
300 g appels
1 tl kaneelpoeder
1 tl gember, geraspt



Awesome autumn! In de herfst maak ik om de haverklap verse appel- of perenmoes ; )
Bereiding
Verwijder de pitten en rotte plekjes uit de peren en appels. Doe alle ingrediënten in een pan en kook ongeveer 30 minuten. Scherp het brouwsel in de blender en mix tot een fijne massa. Laat goed afkoelen en schenk in een potje dat je goed af kunt sluiten. Bewaar in de koelkast.
