Mint-Lime popsicles
I am in love with sweet and sour recipes. Especially in the summer! When the temperature goes up, one of the things I really like to make is fresh lemonade, and if I have some leftover, I make popsicles out of it right away. Winner! This easy recipe is also a guaranteed success with the younger powerfoodies ; ) Happy sunny day!
15 - 20 min + freezer time
Portion
4
Shelf life
3 months (in the freezer)
Supplies
popsicle mould
popsicle sticks (wood)
Ingredients
lemonade
small handful of mint leaves
1 lime
Fill the popsicle moulds 3/4 of the way full with lemonade. Roughly chop the mint leaves and add them to the lemonade in the moulds. Add slices of lime just for the look, if you want. Place the popsicles in the freezer (for an hour in total) and, after about 15 minutes, at which point the lemonade should be partly frozen, insert the wooden sticks.
