Take it slow
My great grandfather used to have his own organic bakery in the Frisian village, Gytsjerk. He used to make the most delicious naturally leavened breads. This nutritious bread took a relatively long time to make compared to the time it takes to produce the bread you see in the supermarket these days. But it’s precisely that lengthy process that makes certain vitamins, minerals and other bioactive substances more readily available to your body and, therefore, makes the bread healthier.
An oak tree grows slowly, but once it’s big enough it can’t be blown over and the tree can live long and powerful.
What I’m trying to say here is that all good things take time. These days we all want everything to be quick, but when we hurry, we run the risk of missing fundamental steps in the process. When people ask me why I don’t have new products available in the shop Powerfoodies Market, I answer that it’s because I want to ensure quality and make sure all the steps are followed.
Take it slow, enjoy the process/growth and make decisions from your heart. Do this and one day you’ll be as strong as that oak tree. Then, whatever you set your mind on will be deeply rooted, well-nourished and no one will be able to stop it.
