Turmeric Porridge
I love Golden Milk! While I tend to drink it in the evening to warm me up, I’ve found it’s just as good in the morning! This tasty breakfast is so addictive… It makes me even more excited to start my day. And, on top of that, this recipe is incredibly nutritious and healthy. Enjoy!
Good to know – Turmeric
Turmeric, also known as kinyit or kurkuma, is one of my very favorite spices (I’m sure you’ve noticed it in my recipes!). The turmeric root grows in Asia, mainly in India and southern China, where it’s generally used as a yellow food dye. It is, however, also known for its medicinal properties. The root cleanses the body, is a natural anti-inflammatory and helps heal skin inflammation caused by conditions like eczema.
Turmeric used to be impossible to find in Friesland… They didn’t even sell it at the Asian markets we frequented and my uncle didn’t carry it in his organic food store either. My mem had to do her utmost to find it, but when she did, our love affair with turmeric began.
I add it to curries, feel-good drinks, smoothies and the delicious oatmeal described below. I love it!
Approx 20 min.
Portion
1 person
Shelf life
2 days in an air-tight container om the fridge
Supplies
small pot
Ingredients
50 g (1/2 cup) oatmeal
350 ml (1 ¼ cups) plant-based milk (I love oat milk and cashew milk)
1 tsp turmeric
½ tsp cinnamon
a pinch of sea salt
¼ tsp ground cardamom
a pinch of black pepper
¼ tsp powdered ginger, or to taste
2 tsp honey (optional; or maple syrup (for a vegan option))
Topping
granola
coconut yogurt
raisins
Pour the plant-based milk into a small pot and bring it to a boil at medium-high heat. Add the oatmeal and the remaining ingredients to the boiling plant-based milk, stirring well. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring regularly to ensure that the oatmeal doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pot. Add a bit of extra water to the mixture if you find that your oatmeal is getting a bit too thick. Transfer to a bowl and enjoy!

I’m the business owner of JustCBD label (justcbdstore.com) and am seeking to develop my wholesale side of company. It would be great if anybody at targetdomain give me some advice 🙂 I considered that the most ideal way to accomplish this would be to talk to vape shops and cbd retail stores. I was really hoping if anybody could suggest a dependable site where I can purchase Vape Shop B2B Data List I am presently taking a look at creativebeartech.com, theeliquidboutique.co.uk and wowitloveithaveit.com. Not sure which one would be the most suitable solution and would appreciate any advice on this. Or would it be simpler for me to scrape my own leads? Ideas?
